Introduction

If you are a food manufacturer, cosmetic formulator, flavour house or dietary supplement developer sourcing bulk botanical ingredients, you likely have many questions around sample evaluation, minimum order quantity, packaging and global shipment.

At Dielegance Biotechnology, we supply a wide portfolio including botanical extracts, liposome powder, natural garlic oil, ginger oil and other natural flavour & functional raw materials. This FAQ blog addresses the most frequent enquiries from our international B2B buyers, to help you arrange R&D testing and bulk orders smoothly.

Frequently Asked Questions‌

Q1: Can I get samples of your raw materials for lab testing? What is the sample size?

A: Yes, we offer R&D samples for formulation assessment and laboratory analysis. Sample sizes differ based on product categories. For oily ingredients such as garlic oil and ginger oil, regular samples are 10g–50g. For botanical extracts and liposome powder, typical sample packs range from 10g to 100g.

Every sample batch is accompanied by COA, MSDS and relevant documentations. Sample cost and freight will be quoted separately. Sample rebate is negotiable once bulk cooperation is confirmed. Samples are normally dispatched within 2–3 working days after confirmation.

Q2: What is your MOQ for bulk orders?

A: MOQ varies by product type. For mainstream natural oils (garlic oil, ginger oil), trial bulk MOQ starts from 25kg. For botanical extracts and liposome powder, standard trial MOQ is 10–25kg. Mixed-item consolidation is available if you order multiple raw materials in one shipment. Custom specifications will be checked and confirmed for exact MOQ before quotation.

Q3: What packaging options do you provide for bulk shipment?

A: Packaging is customized according to the physical property of each raw material. Liquid oils: food-grade HDPE jerrycans or sealed metal drums, light-proof and leak-resistant for long transit. Powder products (botanical extracts, liposome powder): food-safe aluminium foil bags, fibre drums with inner double plastic bags, moisture-proof. Samples are packed in amber glass bottles or aluminium bottles for oils, and sealed foil pouches for powders. All packages carry clear batch labels for full traceability.

Q4: What are your lead times after order confirmation?

A: For in-stock standard botanical extracts, liposome powder, garlic oil and ginger oil, lead time is generally 7–10 working days. If new production or custom specification is required, the lead time will be 12–18 working days. We will notify you of the exact schedule before order placement.

Q5: Which shipping terms do you support?

A: We support common Incoterms including EXW, FOB and CIF. We work with trusted forwarders for air and sea shipments to Europe, Southeast Asia and other global destinations. For buyers in EU countries such as Germany and Switzerland, we can prepare complete export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, COA, MSDS and certificate of origin for customs clearance.

Q6: Are these raw materials suitable for food, flavour or supplement applications?

A: Our portfolio covers raw materials for food flavouring, seasoning and dietary supplement formulation. Garlic oil and ginger oil are steam-distilled natural flavour ingredients. Botanical extracts and liposome powder are produced for functional formulation. Each batch is tested for key indicators including assay, heavy metals, PAHs, pesticide residues and microbiology, with complete traceability files for quality audits.

Q7: How do you handle quality issues after bulk delivery?

A: All goods go through pre-shipment batch inspection. If any quality discrepancy is verified upon arrival, please provide photos and independent lab test data within the agreed inspection period. We will discuss practical solutions such as re-inspection, replacement or other arrangements as stipulated in the sales contract.
